St. Louis Images

A few years ago, I was invited by the Missouri Botanical Gardens to exhibit my art in their lobby, the Ridgeway Center. Along with one other artist, we had the whole weekend to show our art and meet new people. In preparation for that event, I did these watercolor and pencil paintings of the garden and had them reproduced into small prints. Still have some available if you would like a piece of the garden.

They are all pencil drawings with a watercolor wash. Our beautiful park is quite a gift to ourselves, not to be taken for granted. These images are available as giclee reproductions, signed and numbered in a limited edtion of 100. They look great in a professional office setting, or in your home. “Reflections II”, “It’s the Arch”, and “Bottom of the Ninth” are the titles of the watercolor and pencil pieces I have available featuring just some of the striking images you will see in downtown St. Louis. “Bottom of the Ninth” you will not see, as I did this piece from photos taken of the beloved old Busch Stadium right before it was demolished. This is how St. Louis looked in 1993, as many remember. This piece of art was made by using the photos I took from a helicopter at that time. I made a pen and ink drawing, then had it made into black & white prints. Each print is then hand colored by me so each one is different than the next. See larger detail below!!
